From this perspective, the moving image inescapably redefined our experience of history and time. History — a series of events animated and enhanced by several media — and time as a plastic construct, material and subject to manipulation. It has changed forms, functions, and conventions, introducing new technologies, interfaces, and mostly new perceptions regarding the state of the world and of art.
